Da’wah Every day, you should talk about Allah with Mus lims, with the intention of rectifying and strengthening 174 your eman. Not all talk counts as da’wah. Your da’wah must have polarity, meaning it should shift their focus from this world to the next. It should shift the listener from:
- The shortness of this life to the vastness and eternal nature of the afterlife
- Ashaab to A’maal; from the means of this world to the righteous actions shown to us by our Messenger
- Creation to the Creator
- Following the trends of the times to following the Messenger of the end of times
- Our responsibility as the messengers of the Messenger of Allah. To carry the mes-sage of Islam and spread it to every comer of this carth. For the first four, we should follow the style of nega-tion and affirmation. For example, if we take the third point of shifting focus from the creation to the Creator, we negate the doing of creation and affirm that Allah is the only Doer. We could say money cannot bene-fit, Allah is the One who gives benefit. Status cannot
