02. Transcendence Of Allah Swt

**Kalima-e-Tauheed - Oneness of Allah

**The belief in the Oneness of Allah is the foundation of Piety (Taqwa)

Transcendence of Allah swt

Allah’s transcendence means that  ==He is beyond and above everything in existence, incomparable to any creation, and not bound by physical limitations like time or space==. This belief is fundamental in Islam and is supported by the Quran, which describes Allah as unique, absolute, and without beginning or end.

  • Beyond creation: Allah is seen as separate from the world, a being that transcends physical reality and human comprehension. He is not a formed body, a substance, or an accident, nor is He subject to the limits of time or place.
  • Absolute and unique: He is the one and only God, without partners or equals. For example, the belief in a son of God is rejected, as it would imply a created status that contradicts His absolute nature.
  • Perfect and eternal: Allah is believed to be free from all imperfections and deficiencies. He is eternal and absolute, having no beginning and no end.
  • Immanent as well as transcendent: While transcendent, Muslims also believe Allah is immanent, meaning He is close to and present within His creation. This attribute reassures believers that He is always with them, watching over and guiding them
